Elementary Kids Discipleship and Mission Program
Our hope is to equip kids to follow The Way of Jesus in an increasingly complex world. Helping kids see what it means to follow Jesus in their family, in their neighborhood, and at their school. What is the purpose of all of this church stuff? Our goal is to help kids see their purpose in the kingdom, to be able to know God in a personal way, but also to make Him known. Know God, Live like Jesus, and be led by the Spirit.
Wednesday nights will include gathering and connection, gym time, and small group time where we will explore the core of what it means to follow Jesus, equipping them to engage with Jesus and the world in an intentional way.
Wednesdays will give kids a deeper dive into living The Way of Jesus!

What will my child be learning:
We will primarily focus on three things
- Know God: shaped through knowledge of the Big God Story, diving deeper into what they are learning on Sunday mornings, discovering how to study the bible in their personal contexts, and milestones such as scripture memory, the Lord’s Prayer, understanding communion and baptism, and more.
- Live Like Jesus (up, in, out): kids will learn how Jesus prioritized his relationship with the Father, with his community and with those he was called to reach. While participating we hope that children will discover how they can live like Jesus in the same way.
- Be led by the spirit: learning how to recognize and listen to God’s voice and engaging in a variety of spiritual practices such as prayer, dwelling in the word, and other age appropriate activities.
How does my child participate?

Can we bring friends/neighbors?
Yes, everyone is welcome to participate. Just sign them up here as well.
When is the Kids Discipleship and Mission Program?
Wednesdays 6-7:30pm
September 18 through December 18 (off Nov. 27th for Thanksgiving)
Then, January 8 through May 14
Do I need to come into the building when I drop them off?
Yes, we ask that you walk your student to the kids floor and check them in as well as come in when it is time for pickup. This is for the safety of your child.
How will I know what my child is studying/learning?
We want to equip you to walk with your child in this discipleship process. Our team will send you links to the lessons as well as goals your child will be working towards in their journey with us through the year.
Is there a cost?
No, this program is free to all who sign up.
Will there be a meal?
No, we ask that you feed your child prior to their arrival.
Do they need to bring anything?
If they have a bible at home they may want to bring that. We will also have bibles available for them to use in the classroom. We will provide each child with a journal that will stay in the classroom for them to work through all year long.
What should my child wear?
Comfortable clothes that are meant for play. We suggest layers as they may go from an air conditioned classroom to a hot gym and back.
Is there a program for my middle school or high school student?
Yes! You can register them along with your elementary student and you can learn more here.
