Student Ministry Discipleship and Mission Program
We believe that middle school and high school students have three spiritual needs: love, belonging, and purpose. Our hope is that each student will experience the life-changing love of Jesus and a community where they can belong and discover a faith that is their own. We hope they will be inspired to discern and live out their unique and God-given purpose in the world.
FAQ’s:
What will my student be learning:
We will primarily focus on three things
- Connecting with Others: We know that connection has gotten even trickier in this digital and post-Covid world. Through teachings, small groups, and free time, we will provide tools and opportunities for students to build and maintain connection with other teens and adult leaders who care about them!
- Connecting with God: Our leaders are committed to exhibiting faithful lives and being honest about the great joys and the challenges of walking with Jesus. On Wednesdays, we aim to foster faith in the hearts of our students by encouraging curiosity, spiritual practice, and authentic engagement with the Scriptures.
- Discovering our Unique Purpose: We believe that every student is deeply loved and has a unique and God-given purpose in their world. Through student & leader connection, teaching, and service learning opportunities, students will discover the deep love Jesus has for them and explore ways they might be uniquely equipped to join in God’s restorative work in the world.
